Three Legged Stool clinch the Division Two title

Three Legged Stool have won Worksop Sunday League’s Division Two title at the first attempt, clinching back-to-back promotions.

The impressive outfit still have a 100 per cent record in league games, and are looking to finish the season as unbeaten champions.

Division Three looks like it will come down to a two horse race between Worksop Welfare and Manton Club JFC. Welfare have the points on the board, while JFC have the task of winning several games in hand to maintain their 100 per cent record.

Division One will come down to the three big guns Worksop Boro, St Jospeh’s and treble chasing Manton Sports.

The Challenge Cup Final will be played on 5th May at Manton Club, with Worksop Borough taking on Manton Sports in an 11am kick-off.

Both teams are in the hunt for a league and cup double, and Manton could even be looking at a treble.

Manton Sports will play either Blue Bell or Manton Club JFC in the final of the Benevolent Cup, which will be played at Manton Club on 12th May, kicking off at 11am.
