St. Anne's make a winning start to their 2020 Bassetlaw schools' football programme

St. Anne’s emerged as 6-1 winners with goals shared by a George Gill hat-trick, Freddie Pickering, Freddie Underwood and Samodh Nadkarni.

The remainder of the schools will turn their attention to cup matches this month when the middle division cup holders, St. Anne’s will meet Worksop Priory while the full draw sees Dunham-on Trent entertain Clarborough, St.Josephs meet Misterton and Carlton Ramsden meet Harworth CE.

The Parry Cup has already reached the semi-final stage with Norbridge drawn at home to Holy Family and Redlands at home to Prospect Hill.

A disappointing entry for the small schools' cup puts Misson at home to Sturton-le- Steeple and Gamston against Ranskill.
