SJR extend lead at the top of table

St Joseph’s Rockware of Worksop extended their unbeaten run and lead at the top of Division One North with a 4-0 win over a young Selston team.

Saturday’s scoreline could have been a bigger one in SJR’s favour if it were not for the heroics of the Selston stopper.

Ben Brown and Chris Lovett constantly tormented Selston's defence and were rewarded with a goal apiece.

While there was one from Steve Scott who had a man of the match performance alongside fellow dominant midfielder Dean Bonser.

Dan Whiltshire finished the best team move of the game and rewarded for a class performance.

Selston posed more problems for the SJR defence in the second half but were dealt with in difficult conditions admirably by Pete Scott, Kyle Wesley, Jack Hardy and Gaz Bonner.
