SJR Development got back to winning ways with a comprehensive 4-1 victory over Doncaster GCT FC.

SJR had a full squad available as veteran winger Daniel Scott returned from first team duty.

And It was Scott who got SJR off the mark when his far post cross dropped under the bar.

SJR where now playing with confidence and getting their passing game together.

A second goal soon followed when young midfielder Kian Smith scored his fourth goal in as many games when he received the ball looked up and exquisitely lobbed the stranded keeper from some 25 yards.

It was one way traffic with Adam beard in the SJR goal rarely troubled, with the help of some strong defending and a midfield that worked to cut out any Doncaster threat.

Max Sykes finally got the goal that his fine centre forward play deserved when Scott once again put in a quality cross.

Sykes nearly got a second when he slid in at the far post but just failed to get a contact from a fine Chris Kirk cross.

Smith was next with a great effort when once again he tried from distant only to see his effort bounce back off the bar.

The second half saw SJR once again on the front foot and a fourth goal soon arrived when Sykes got his second of the game, hooking the ball home after some intelligent forward play

Just when SJR looked like keeping there first clean sheet of the season a long ball over the top caught the defence flat footed and the Doncaster striker finished well.

Sykes was named man of the match with Scott and Smith also performing well.
