Six point week for ecstatic Town side

Dinnington Town picked up six points this week, from wins over Teversal and Yorkshire Amateur.

On Saturday they went ahead early when Grant Allott was brought down Liam Cartledge converted the penalty.

With 12 minutes on the clock Town doubled their lead, Allott causing confusion in the box pouncing to fire home.

Teversal pulled one back on 68 minutes as Jacob Ashley fired home a free-kick into Jepson’s bottom right corner

But three minutes later Cartledge calmly fired home an unstoppable shot from the edge of the area to seal the points.

They followed the away win with a home victory on Tuesday, beating Yorkshire Amateur, Cartledge, Allott and Martin Wade scoring

On Saturday they host Appleby Frodingham before Tuesday’s trip to Selby Town.
