Defender Morgan Fox has warned against underestimating an injury-hit Aston Villa side today.
Mid-table Villa could be missing as many as 10 players due to injury, including Jack Grealish, Birkir Bjarnason and Andre Green.
Owls full-back Fox expects it to be a “totally different game” to their midweek draw with Burton Albion.
“Burton, possibly, didn’t come to win the game,” he said. “They came to get the point and fair play to them they got it. It was hard for us to break them down.
“I think everyone left feeling a bit frustrated but we are ready to go again against Aston Villa.”
Fox said he is surprised 15th-placed Villa are not higher in the standings.
“They have a lot of quality and recently they have picked up their performances and some results so we are not taking anything for granted,” he added.
The former Charlton Athletic full-back recently opened his Owls goalscoring account in their comprehensive win over Norwich City.
“It was good to get off the mark,” he said. “It is probably not what I’m known for. I don’t get very many but it is always good to help and contribute to the team.
“Maybe I can get a couple more.”
