Head coach Carlos Carvalhal insists he is not feeling under any pressure despite the Owls languishing in the lower reaches of the Championship.
The Portuguese said he was feeling the heat after their woeful first half showing at home to Middlesbrough before the international break.
But speaking at a press briefing yesterday, Carvalhal claimed his multi-cultural squad are improving.
He said: “I put pressure on myself after the Middlesbrough match because I didn’t like how we played in the first half. I was very upset with myself, the players and with the process.
“We played better in the second half. I felt a little pressure in this period.
“After Burnley, I don’t feel under pressure because we played with good quality.”
Carvalhal has suggested he plans to eventually field a settled team.
“I believe in the future the rotation will not be like it has been in the first period,” he said. “We will stabalise the team more and the way we play.”
