Schools football: Treble winners Carr Hill show intent

CARR Hill, treble winners last season, showed they are intent on keeping their titles, when they started the new campaign with an 8-2 win over a brave Kingston Park side.

Five down at half-time, Kingston continued to battle bravely against all the odds and managed to reduce the deficit with goals from Joseph Hodgkiss and Oliver Billau.

But Oliver Ashwell (3), Alex Wonham (2), Joseph Gregory (2) and Tyler Smith had put Carr Hill in an unassailable position and the champion of champions school were victorious in the opener.
