Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman relishing idea of beating Middlesbrough

Dougie Freedman has backed his Nottingham Forest players to cause Middlesbrough problems.

The two in-form sides meet at the Riverside tomorrow (Saturday) and Freedman is relishing the prospect of playing the Championship leaders.

“I’m relishing the opportunity to go and beat the leaders,” he told www.nottinghamforest.co.uk. “I think we’re capable of doing it and I think if we play in a certain way we will do it.

“We’ve got nothing to lose at all and I’ll be going there with that kind of attitude. Nobody expects us to win.

“It’s going to be a very difficult job but we’re on a very good run of form ourselves. Middlesbrough play in a style that will suit ours and we have a certain style about us right now - we can create opportunities and the back five are playing fantastically well. Long may that continue.”
