Murray and Shaw show respect is mutual after Stags v Tigers friendly
Murray enjoyed a loan spell at Sandy Lane late on in his playing days and was pleased a crowd of 500-plus turned out for Saturday’s friendly.
Speaking afterwards, he said: “It’s one of those things, when I went through a period in my career where I found myself what some might say ‘out in the cold’, these guys looked after me.

The respect is mutual between Murray and Tigers boss Mark Shaw, who was full of praise for his opposite number after the 3-1 defeat to Stags.
On Murray, Shaw said: “He is a fantastic person. The game got re-arranged just before pre-season started as they were able to pull a big Premier League club.
“Adam’s always maintained that he would come and bring a first team and he’s a man of his word.
