Medal haul for Retford swimmers
Retford Swimming Club were in action at two concurrent meets last weekend, in Sheffield and Nottingham.
At Ponds Forge, in the Rotherham Metro A and B Graded Long Course Level 3 Meet, Liam Marshall, 14, brought home gold medals for 50m backstroke and 100m breaststroke.
He also won silver in the 50m breaststroke and a bronze in the 200m backstroke.

Daisy Cookson, 14, claimed gold in the 200m backstroke, silver in the 200m freestyle and a bronze in the 50m breaststroke (B grade).
Twelve-year-old Samuel Templeton took silvers in the 100m breaststroke and 200m backstroke.
Sixteen swimmers travelled to Beechdale Leisure Centre in Nottingham for the Notts ASA Winter Age Group Gala.
Matthew Pavier finished first in his age group in each of his entered events.
A total of 39 personal best times were achieved by Retford swimmers.
