John Mann has called a meeting for Worksop Town fans, to discuss the club’s options for a new home.
Tigers currently groundshare with Sandy Lane leaseholders Handsworth Parramore, but it is widely recognised that without control of a ground their progression will be limited.
Hopes for a home at the Vesuvius development appear to have stalled, with no word from ASDA if they will move onto the site.
A statement on the Tigers website claimed the Bassetlaw MP has been investigating possibilities for a new ground.
He has now called a meeting with fans and the community, next Wednesday at 6.30pm before Tigers’ game against Phoenix FC.
The statement read: “John Mann would like all interested parties to attend, especially those who have skills that can be utilised to help in the project.”
