Local boy Ben leaves
BEN Turner has left Tigers by mutual consent and joined Frickley Athletic.
The left-back, who signed for Worksop Town in the summer, failed to secure a place in either Martin McIntosh or his successor Simon Clark’s starting line-ups.
After a successful loan spell with former Tigers boss Peter Rinkcavage at Frickley, Turner – a Worksop teenager – negotiated his release from contract with Tigers.
Rinkcavage said: “I am delighted we have managed to sign a player of Ben’s calibre.”
“I haven’t seen a better young left-back in the division this season.”
