Leverton reach schools final

Leverton reached the final of the Small Schools County Cup with a win over Nottingham school Trowell.

Judy Campbell, Adam Capsticks and Thomas Jee provided the goals.

There is still the prospect of an all-Bassetlaw final as both Haggonfields and Sturton-le-Steeple are still in the quarter-finals.

East Markham’s boys team emulated this season’s success of their girls when they reached their first ever cup final with a 3-2 extra time defeat of Ranskill in the Middle Divisions Cup, to book a meeting with St Joseph’s.

Parry Cup holders Prospect Hill reached their second successive final when Timo Photiou, Sonny Irons, Kieron Houghton, Kian Smith and Divine Oluwatayo were on target as they overcame Worksop Priory.

Redlands Girls are looking like strong Division Four title contenders and a Sharna Gregory goal earned the points over Carr Hill.

Bassetlaw Boys face their biggest challenge of the season when, as County Champions, they enter the English Schools Midlands Counties Finals in Nottingham on Saturday.
