Clumber Park returned to winning ways by securing victory against Everton with the very last ball of the game.
Batting first Clumber posted a workmanlike total of 183, built around a top score of 42 from Warren Rhodes, and useful contributions throughout the team.
In reply, a wicket apiece for Callum Rutherford and skipper Al Skinner caused an early wobble for Everton but at 100-2 after 25 overs they looked firm favourites.
However, Mark Dean (4-28) inspired a Clumber fight-back, dismissing danger-man Johnson (52) before running through the middle order, aided by some outstanding catches in the field.
Skinner (4-28) returned to weigh in with a trio of wickets to leave the hosts in total control.
Dogged last pair resistance looked like grabbing a draw for the visitors but in a dramatic final twist Rhodes cleaned bowled the last man with the final ball of the last over to seal the win for Clumber.
Clumber Park sit third in Bassetlaw Division One, five points behind second placed Whitwell and 30 back from leaders Caythorpe II.
This Saturday Clumber will travel to short distance to play local rivals Firbeck.
Struggling Firbeck are second from bottom in the division, 23 points off the side above them, Everton.
Last Saturday, Firbeck were beaten by five wickets by the league leaders Caythorpe.
Tom Barker (44) and Liam Parry (30*) were the standout performers with the bat for Firbeck in their 131 all out,.
In reply, Caythorpe II knocked off the runs for the loss of five wickets.
Dan Moorcroft top scored with 43 to maintain his side’s title charge.
