Jade Moore is taking part in her first major tournament with the England women this week, and after defeat to Spain and a draw with Russia, the ‘Lionesses’ need a win over France tonight (Thursday).

Moore, 22, is a former Dinnington Comprehensive student, who began her international career at the age of 15, and has represented her country at Under 17, Under 19, Under 20 and Under 23 levels.

She received her first call-up to the women’s senior squad in 2011, and has five caps to her name and one goal.

Despite experience of tournament football at youth level, this is the Birmingham City midfielder’s first major senior tournament.

Moore was an unused substitute for both of the opening group games.

All of England’s matches are shown live on BBC TV.
