TRINITY produced a goal feast to progress to the cup quarter-finals.

Seven goals came in the first half from Tom Williams, Sam Trowsdale, Ben Turver, Keatan Gale and three from Jack Weatherell – his third a great header from a right wing cross.

In the second half the goals kept coming with Ewan McKay, Bradley Booth and Alex Walshaw getting on the scoresheet.

Also adding to their tally were Turver and Trowsdale, with Weatherell getting another hat-trick and Williams completing his treble with a mazy run and cool finish.

Credit to Crosby who despite the scoreline never let their heads drop and were a credit to their manager and supporters.

Before the game a minute’s silence was observed for the sad loss of Elaine Williams, mother of Trinity player Tom who sadly passed away last week and will be greatly missed by all at Gainsborough Trinity Under 14s.
