Frustration for stopper
Hallam hurt his shoulder in last week’s trip to Whitby, but had to stay on the pitch as there was no keeper on the bench.
The Stamford game at the weekend came too soon for him and he sat in the stands.

He told the Guardian: “I had no option but to get on with it on Wednesday.”
“I’ve aggravated my AC joint, damaged the muscle around it, I’ve just got to wait for it to settle down.”
“It’s very frustrating, getting fit and then getting injured again.”
He’s hoping that once he returns from the shoulder injury he can help Worksop Town to stem the flow of goals they’ve been conceding.

“We started the season with a clean sheet and it’s a much better feeling winning 2-0 than winning a game 4-2 or 5-3.”
“I suppose it doesn’t matter if we get points on the board, but it’s a big thing for me and for the defenders.”
