Worksop Town are preparing for a hectic three pre-season games in five days.
They travel to Brighouse Town tonight (Friday, 7.45), then host Swallownest MW tomorrow (3pm) before welcoming Sheffield United on Tuesday (7pm).
“All of them will take part on Friday and Saturday and get lots of minutes, then they will rest Sunday/Monday and into the Sheffield United game on Tuesday when we will look to start giving people more minutes,” said boss Ryan Hindley.
“Nothing is set in stone. It won’t be a first XI and they are going to play the rest of the friendlies. But we won’t be chopping and changing constantly after 45 minutes which is no good for anyone.
“After this weekend it’s time to get serious and get players as much game time as possible.”
The Tigers will kick off the season at home on Saturday, 5th August having this week been drawn against Hinckley AFC in the FA Cup extra preliminary round.
If successful they will then face either Heanor Town or Aylestone Park at home again on the week commencing Saturday 19th August.
Tigers’ U19s will play Garforth Town at home in the FA Youth Cup Preliminary round, week commencing 4th September.
The winners will be away to Worsborough Bridge or Bottesford Town.
