Former Arsenal star to grace North Notts Arena

Former Arsenal and England footballer Paul Merson will be the star attraction at North Notts Arena’s Charity Sportsperson’s Evening in December.

The Sky Sports pundit, who also played for Aston Villa and Middlesborough is expected to discuss his battle with alcoholism along with his experiences as a top footballer.

Merson joined Arsenal in 1984 as an apprentice, before becoming a regular at Highbury and making 423 appearances, scoring 99 goals.

On Friday 6th December he will star at North Notts Arena, along with MC Barry York.

Tickets are £15, all seating is reserved, with doors opening at 6.45pm for a 7.45pm start.
