That’s the news according to the Daily Telegraph today.

In the Guardian, Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce’s chances of taking the England job are said to be boosted by his willingness to help the FA mentor a young assistant.

The Sun say that former Southampton star Graziano Pelle will become the sixth highest-paid player in the world thanks to his £260,000 a week wages at Chinese club Shandong Luneng.

North of the border the Daily Record reports that Manchester United have deemed Juan Mata, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind surplus to requirements.

Spanish outlet Super Deporte say that Villarreal and Everton will do battle for Mata’s services.

Jose Mourinho will have West Ham’s 17-year-old Reece Oxford watched when he plays for England Under 19s against the Netherlands on Friday, according to the Daily Mirror.

And the Mirror also reports that Colombian Marlos Moreno will join Manchester City from Atletico Nacional on a five-year deal, but will spend next season on loan at Deportivo La Coruna.
