Cup joy for Trinity kids

GAINSBOROUGH Trinity U14s beat Scotter Juniors 2-1 in atrocious conditions in the Jack Kalson Divisional Trophy quarter-finals.

Sean Potts and Brandon Scrimshaw got the goals for Trinity.

In the U13 equivalent of the same competition, Trinity won 9-0 at Epworth Colts.

The goalscorers were Keatan Gale, Jack McMenemy (4), Thomas Williams (2), Sam Trowsdale and Spencer Robson.

The club’s U10s suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Forest Rangers, going down 8-4 despite a brace from Luke Crossley.

A 5-1 win away at Blyth was the reward for the U9s after a game full of enthusiasm.

Brandon Smth, Libby Jarvis, Ryan Blanchard and Kayden Morton (2) sealed the points.
