Burbeary agrees

The midfielder, currently in action in Canada with Victoria Highlanders, has been in negotiations with Tigers for weeks, but manager Simon Clark says a deal is now complete.

“Ashley will be coming in at the end of August and he’ll be available after international clearance,” said the boss.

Burbeary joined Worksop early last season after a spell in Canada and went on to feature 35 times, scoring nine goals.

He counts Gainsborough Trinity, Frickley Athletic and Sheffield FC in his former clubs.
