Tom Burgin has left Worksop Town for Bradford Park Avenue.
A statement from the club revealed the offer that came in for Burgin was too good for the player to turn down.
Tigers boss Mark Shaw said Burgin was more than capable of plying his trade at a higher level with Bradford PA.
Shaw said: “I can see him as a future Jack Muldoon, where he could play as high as the Football League.
“He has all the qualities, and we don’t want to stop players progressing, we want to encourage it.
“It’s not an ideal time with the season starting on Saturday, but we will refocus and be ready for Athersley Rec.
He added: “I wish him all the best, he’s been a fantastic player for me.”
