Bassetlaw football sides still searching for first Nottinghamshire title

Bassetlaw are still searching for their first county title of the season, and once again fell just short in the Girls Indoor Five-a-side Championship.

Redlands made the long journey to Clifton and having defeated West Bridgford School 3-0, Philip Neri of Mansfield 2-1 and shared the points with Parkdale of Gedling they narrowly lost 2-1 to eventual winners Fernwood of Notingham but came home with well deserved runners-up medals.

Congratulations to the girls and manager, Kerry Chadburn who was prepared to make the long journey with the girls after a day’s work.
