Back-to-back wins and clean sheets for Worksop Town

Craig Denton's Tigers, who overcame second placed Penistone Church last week, took the lead seven minutes after the break when Steve Woolley delivered the ball into the box and defender Steven Wankiewicz headed home.

It was 2-0 when Matt Sykes' low cross was turned in by Connor Brunt.

And Sykes then got on the scoresheet himself with a late penalty to complete the win.

There were late chances for Worksop to add to the scoreline, making it a comfortable afternoon's work for the world's fourth oldest club.

Tigers are next in action a week today when they visit league leaders Yorkshire Amateur.
