Adam Scott has put an end to speculation over his future and committed to Worksop Town for the upcoming season.
His decisions comes less than 24 hours after Tigers unveiled new boss Ryan Hindley.
Scott confirmed he had turned down better deals elsewhere to stay at Sandy Lane.
He said: “I have turned down offers from a variety of clubs. I always said I’d like to stay and was waiting to see who came in as manager.
“The fans have always been unbelievable with me and that’s what attracted me here in the first place.
“I’ve obviously spoken to Ryan and I liked his enthusiasm for the club so in the end it was sort of a no-brainer for me.
“The manager’s passion is vital, he will no doubt bring in some good players and that’s what we need to kick us on.
“Hopefully we can have a season challenging for a top six finish so fingers crossed it will be a good season for us.”
