Cycling: Riders to tackle annual time trial in fancy dress

The event takes place on the Carlton on Trent to Tuxford course, using the old Great North Road.

Competitors will be handicapped using ‘National Standards’ based on the individual rider’s age.

Over the years this event has gradually become a fancy dress race finale before the club dinner and prize presentation later in the day at the Markham Moor Inn.

As in previous years this time trial is open to riders from other clubs - fancy dress optional.

Meet in the car park next to the fire station in Tuxford at 9.30am.
