Worksop had early success with the ball as they had the home side at 35-3.
But then Curtis Mitchell (79) and Martin Mitchell (73) came together for a crucial 157 partnership.
Opener Tim Smith Jnr had another fine weekend with 70 and was given solid backing from Andrew Appleton (31) and Harry Taylor (54), Curtis Mitchell ending with 3-36 from his eight overs.
Taylor added: “Tim Smith showed his class at the top of the order and I thought Cole (Parker 2-38) bowled nicely as well. Coming into the first team for his first year he has shown promising signs.
The win put Farnsfield in second place after three games, joining leaders Papplewick & Linby II on 60 points after both had won all three opening matches.
This Saturday Worksop are at home to Kiveton Park Colliery (1pm).
“Hopefully the rain stays away – the forecast is not great – but it should be a good game,” said Taylor.
Kiveton Park beat Mansfield CC by 78 runs in a rain-affected match. Papplewick & Linby won by nine runs at Harthill in another game also affected by the weather.
