The sun shone and Cuckney 2nd produced the performance of the day as the new Bassetlaw League cricket season got under way on Saturday.

Set a huge target of 271 by last season’s Championship runners-up, North Wheatley with Leverton, Cuckney got there in the hands of Richard Bostock, who hammered an unbeaten 127. Here are the results from all eight divisions of the league:
