ASTON Hall batted first against a side who are keen to display their championship credentials, and the hosts were quickly reduced to 17 for 2.

The revival was built around an innings from Asadullah Butt who crafted 35 runs.

Ryan Tingle supported well and was 29 not out at the close.

Aston were all out for 132 with the tormentor in chief Stephen Foster claiming 4 for 13.

Nazakat Khan bowled well to take 3 for 20.

Treeton’s reply was led by the indomitable Foster who mastered the conditions with a good deal of skill and determination in scoring 54 not out.

Treeton lost four wickets and used 42.4 overs in their success.
