Christie in town
GREAT Britain sprinting legend Linford Christie is set for a flying visit to Worksop.
The Olympic gold medal winner is to visit the town for the Street Athletics event on 16th June, as part of the Bassetlaw Games campaign.
Four age group competitions will allow youngsters to prove their speed over 60m, at Worksop Leisure Centre on Valley Road. The event will also consist of a Sony music and dance competition.
