Cherry Willingham pick up a 10-0 victory

CHERRY Willingham had a home match against Glentham and achieved a very good 10-0 victory this week.

Glentworth were also at home against Middle Rasen Tupholme and found the visitors in form and up to the break, Tupholme won one and drew the other.

However Glentworth got back on top and won the remaining two games and took a 7-3 victory overall.

Bishop Norton Green were at home against Lea and surprisingly a strong Green team were well beaten in their first game and struggled to draw their other game.

The aggregate was very close but the Greens just got it by one shot, and thanks to the other Green team winning both games, they came out on top by a 7-3 scoreline.

There was much more activity in the Northern Division, as Hibaldstow had two home matches and won both.

They beat Perry’s Gold 7-3 and were able get the better of South Kelsey Red 6-4.

Hibaldstow also had to play away against South Kelsey Blue and unfortunately lost 8-2.

Barnetby Red met league leaders Trentside at home and achieved an excellent 6-4 win in a very tight match.

Scawby Orange played away against Barnetby Blue and were well beaten 10-0.

They next went to Elsham and lost again 8-2 and after these two defeats, played at home against Waddingham Red and at last found better form and pulled off a good 8-2 win.

Bottesford Green met Barnetby Red at home and although the match was tight, won 8-2.

Waddingham Red next played Bottesford Green at home took an 8-2 victory.

Elsham played South Kelsey Blue at home and won 8-2.

Barnetby Blue beat Bottesford Brown 6-4 at home.
