Dan Bramall scored two goals and got one assists in the Tigers 4-0 away win over Mickleover

Worksop Town winger Dan Bramall scored his first two league goals against Mickleover on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old was pleased with not only his own performance, but how the whole team played against the Reds: “The team were brilliant from start to finish, like in the first half we were outstanding should have had 3 or 4 in the first half,

“Then in the second half we just overpowered them and went and scored more goals.

Bramall signed for Worksop in the Summer, and since then has become a mainstay on the wing in Craig Parry’s side.

It took Bramall a decent amount of time to get his first goal for the club, but it was an important one as he scored the opening goal against Stratford Town in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.

Bramall took the lead early on the Mickleover game when he received the ball on the left-hand side before shifting it onto his other foot and smashing a low shot past the keeper to get his first league goal for the Tigers

The winger then set up the second goal for Luke Hall, firing in a cross to the centre of the box for his wideman partner to head in.

He bagged his brace and Worksop’s third after a quick counter-attack saw Jordan Burrow flick it around to Bramall who curled a shot into the top right corner.

Bramall spoke after the two different finishes, one into the near post and one into the far post

“I think I’ve got that side to my game, obviously playing on the left-hand side and being right-footed, when you cut inside you can either do far post or near post.

“So I just decided to mix it up tonight and saw what the keeper did and it paid off.
