Blyton in good form

In the Southern Division of the Bishop Norton Short Mat Bowls League Ingham were at home to Blyton who were in good form and were able to win three games and took an 8-2 victory.

A few days later Blyton played at home to Glentworth and had a bit of a battle, but emerged 6-4 winners.

The two Bishop Norton teams met again in their return fixture with the Yellow team narrowly winning 6-4.

There has been quite a lot of action in the Northern Division.

Trentside had two away fixtures and were able to win both, but neither match was totally in Trentside’s favour.

Against Waddingham Red, they struggled in the first games which went to Waddingham, but after the break Trentside got on top and eventually won 6-4.

They then visited Bottesford Green and after two very close ended up 7-3 winners to keep up their unbeaten record.

Bottesford Brown won 8-2 at Elsham but then went down 6-4 to South Kelsey Blue.

Hibaldstow put up a good performance at home to South Kelsey Red and finished up comfortable 9-1 winners.
