Skipper Gaz Beard spearheaded a commanding team performance as Clumber Park dominated Harthill on Saturday.
Clumber picked up 18 points from the winning draw, while their near neighbouts took nine.
Despite being asked to bat first, Clumber soon overcame the loss of an early wicket as Beard and Mark Dean shared a 90 run partnership for the second wicket to put the hosts in control.
Beard finally fell for an entertaining 65 with Dean (50) also completing a fine half century.
Tim Foulds chipped in with a fluent 41 to see the innings close on an imposing 229 for 9.
James Green (3 for 37) was the pick of the Harthill attack.
The visitors’ reply started steadily and they were seemingly well placed at 60 for 1.
However, when young Alex Jervis dismissed dangerman Briggs (37), Beard (3 for 36) barged through the middle order as Clumber regained the upper hand.
Two wickets apiece for Al Skinner and the impressive Foulds, and one for Piers Hampson, then saw the hosts to the brink of victory.
Marsh (30*) stood firm to see Harthill hang on at 168 for 9 on a day when Clumber were good value for their 18 point haul.
Elsewhere in Bassetlaw Division One, Firbeck took 17 points from a draw with Welbeck II, Liam Summers scoring 63 runs in their 217 for 7.
Alex Needham took 5 for 37 as Welbeck were restricted to 169 for 7.
And Whitwell were nine wicket winners, posting 58 for 1 after skittling Mansfield for just 57.
