On a sunny Sunday morning the weather providing good conditions three triathletes returned good times. Pick of the day was Lou Kelly, who with a time of one hour and 3 minutes was second in her age group and finished as 3rd female. Also competing were Amy Chambers coming 5th in her age category and John Mayer 7th in his age category.

Lou Kelly, despite not feeling her best at the start came home 3rd female and second in age category with a time of 1 hour 3 minutes. After the race she commented how slow her run was at 21:08 for the 5km and this was a sign she was under the weather.

Most of the park runners out there would be over the moon with that run time on a very hilly course without having swam 400m and biked full power for 18km (12miles) as required for the Derby sprint distance triathlon before the final run leg.”
