Bassetlaw orienteers pick up Notts titles
BASSETLAW’S orienteers were successful in the Notts Championships last Sunday, held on the Longshore Estate in Derbyshire.
The courses proved to be physically tough and provided a stern challenge to all of the runners.
Five Bassetlaw runners produced good runs and managed to win their respective age races, so were crowned County Champions.
Congratulations to Tom Cooley, Eleanor Cooley, Will Parkinson, Helen Parkinson and Andrew Ridgway on their achievements.
This weekend Bassetlaw’s orienteers are in action at Wombwell Woods.
