Bassetlaw juniors set to compete for Notts in trophy
FOUR Basseltaw Orienteering juniors competed for Notts on Sunday, at the qualifying round of the Yvette Baker Trophy – the national knockout cup.
Their good performances helped Notts qualify for the final, which is to be held on 4th December, at Mausoleum Woods, near Scunthorpe.
Results: Ben Beresford first on the green course, Jess Beresford second on the light green course, Eleanor Cooley second on the yellow course, Will Parkinson fifth on the green course.
Next weekend sees events at Washingborough on Saturday and Calke Park on Sunday.
It also sees some Bassetlaw juniors travelling to Edinburgh for the British Schools Championships.
