Stewart cycled a total of 923 miles in 10 days, despite bad days due to stomach problems and a lack of sleep.

Last Sunday five Wheelers took on an impromptu ride while the majority of club riders were in action in the Great Notts Bike Ride

The group of five set off on a ride to Hockerton in blustery but fine conditions.

After a break at the café the return journey started in rain, but this was not for long and the ride finished in dry conditions.

Next week’s club run is to Humberside airport.

Riders should meet in Retford Market Square at 9am.

On 6July the annual family party will be held at Sutton on Sea.

Riders will cycle there, families will drive there to ferry riders home.

This will comprise a dinner and refreshments at the club’s expense.

All club members are welcome.
