This is who left I'm a Celebrity last night - and odds for favourite to win the final

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! might have been cut short this year, but there are no fewer tears, whodunnit bog drama and unlikely friendships than in previous years.

Evictions began last Friday and double evictions have taken place almost every night this week.

With the King or Queen of the Castle set to be crowned tomorrow, Friday 4 December, who is left and who was thrown out last night (3 December)?

Who left last night?

Following on from a week of double evictions every night, it was only Eastenders actor Shane Richie who said goodbye to Gwrych Castle last night.

Bookies had predicted he would be the next to leave, narrowly missing out on a place in the top 3.

However, the actor did get the opportunity to take part in the famous trial – the Celebrity Cyclone – where he joked he had lost his manhood in ball pit.

Richie is the ninth contestant to leave I’m a celeb 2020, leaving him with “mixed emotions”.

Fellow camp mate, TV presenter Vernon Kay seemed astonished that the public had voted to keep him in ahead of Shane – who had been favourite to win in the first episode.

Asked by Ant and Dec whether he had made a conscious effort to be entertain camp, Richie told how he wanted to keep his campmates in high spirits as “negativity breeds negativity”.

He added: “You've got to embrace it, there's no good trying to be on your own somewhere.”

Who is left in the castle?

The final three camp mates who will feature in tonight’s final are Presenter Vernon Kay, author and podcaster Giovanna Fletcher and Radio 1 DJ Jordan North.

Who is favourite to win?

It is all to play for tonight, as Jordan North and Giovanna Fletcher are neck and neck as bookmakers favourite to win the 2020 crown.

North became the viewers’ favourite after he battled his fears - snakes and heights - in several bushtucker trials and has continued to be the funny man of the series.

However, Giovanna emerged as the dark horse in the final week of the show and the pair now both have odds of 11/10.

Shane Richie, AJ Pritchard and Mo Farrah have all described Fletcher as the mother of the camp, nurturing and their favourite to win.

What happened on last night’s show?

Viewers’ favourite, the Celebrity Cyclone, aired last night and did not disappoint – Shane Richie face-planted the slippery slope in what Ant and Dec joked was a deliberate plot against him by members of the show’s crew.

The bushtucker trial was made particularly difficult as the show celebrated it’s 400th trial and included battling the elements with rain battering against them as large balls were thrown down the soaked slope and paint splattered on the campmates while they struggled to complete the relay race and earn stars.

All four celebrities took part and managed to win all four stars, with only seconds to go.

Earlier in the show, Richie – famous for his role as Alfie Moon in Eastenders – attempted to teach Olympian Mo Farrah how to act, referring to him as the next Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden has nothing to worry about).

Vernon Kay also welled up as he spoke about his daughters and wife, Tess Daly, admitting he “only wanted to make them proud”.

When is the final?

This years I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! finale will take place on Friday, 4 December.

You can watch it on ITV/STV from 9pm until 10.30pm.
