Police appeal after woman 'assaulted' during dog walk in Worksop

Police are investigating after a woman was allegedly assaulted in Worksop.

On Thursday, March 18 it is reported that a confrontation took place during a dog walk on Rayton Lane before a woman sustained injuries to her face.

Officers are continuing their enquiries into the incident, which happened at around 10am that day.

Sergeant Simon Whitehouse, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This behaviour will not be tolerated and we would reassure the community that our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and we will thoroughly investigate any such reports.

"Our local teams are there to listen and act upon any concerns people may have, and we would urge anyone who saw this or has any information to get in touch.”
