Worksop: Zombie zumbathon creeps into town

A mother and daughter are holding a zombie zumbathon to raise money for charity.

Nicola Pelham and her daughter Kaisha, who is a zumba instructor, will be having the zumbathon on Thursday 30th October, at Manton Sports and Social Club, Retford Road, Worksop from 6pm-7.15pm.

The pair started running their own zumba classes earlier in the year and decided to do a “dress to distress” themed class to tie in with Halloween.

The session which will last for 75 minutes, also be an opportunity to fundraise for Ceder House at Bassetlaw Hospice.

Nicola and Kaisha have been inspired to raise money for the hospice after Nicola’s auntie, Carol Storer, passed away at Ceder House in December 2013.

Nicola said: “We hope everyone that joins us dresses up so we all look ghoulish for the night. Dress to Distress is what we are after.”

“All new members are welcome not just at the zombie zumbathon but at any of our classes.”

The Halloween session will cost £5 per person.
