Called Pivo, it has been created using Polish Lubelski and Czech Amethyst hops.

“The flavour profile is completely different to that of the more main-stream lager brands,” said head brewer Claire Monk.

“The hops we have chosen impart a subtle balance of earthy, herbal notes whilst providing a hint of citrus and spice to round things off.”

“We’re really excited about this so welcome any criticism you can offer be it good or bad news, we want to hear it.”

The brewery is also currently in the process of opening its first bar on Ecclesall Road in Sheffield.

“The bar will be called Portland House and we’ve drafted in Tom Purcell, as general manager,” continued Claire.

The brewery has also announced three new August specials at it’s Worksop headquarters.

Tan Gallops is an American-style Indian pale ale which honours Welbeck’s racehorse pedigree.

Strath Royal is an English pale ale and also has a horse-racing link, celebrating one of Welbeck’s most famous Derby winners.

Finally, Henrietta Grande is a golden ale and version of the brewery’s popular bestseller Henrietta.
