Worksop: Water fountains in the Canch not working on hottest day of year
A broken pump is preventing youngsters from enjoying the water fountains at the Canch in Worksop on one of the hottest days of the year.
Parents and children turning up to the park this morning (Thursday) discovered that the fountains were not working.
Bassetlaw Council spokesman apologised for any inconvenience caused.
He added: “One of the pumps has broken and we are hoping it will be fixed by the end of the day tomorrow.”
“We will be treating it as a priority.”
