Worksop: Valley reunion takes trip to 1980s

To celebrate 30 years since they left school the class 0f 1983 is holding a reunion on Saturday 26th October at North Notts Arena.

Former pupil Nicola Pelham has organised the event which is open to ex-students from 1981-1985 and friends.

She said: “The idea came about after a few friends mentioned that it was 30 years since we left school and we had had a small gathering of our year a few months ago. But we decided that since I and my other friends had friends from other years, that a big party was called for.”

“It is nine years since I organised the first Class of 83 reunion at the Westgate Club which was a fantastic night and brilliant to see some friends I had lost touch with, and seeing how people had changed.”

“There was over 100 people there then, but as there are at least five years invited and their friends we should easily reach the 400 mark.”
