The event is open to the public and will run from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
Organisers currently have more than 20 local community charities and groups attending and they are inviting people to come along to explore the volunteering opportunities available in Bassetlaw.
“Volunteering is a great way to meet people, have fun and learn valuable new skills which in turn could enhance your CV and improve your employment opportunities,” said a BCVS spokesman.
If you would like to showcase your organisations’ volunteer opportunities, there is still room for more stalls.
Anyone interested in being part of the event should contact Allison Palmer or Lesley Thorlby on 01909 476118 or email [email protected]
National Volunteer Week starts on Sunday (1st June) and runs until next Saturday (7th June).
