Worksop: Tesco lends 7 Project a helping hand

A Worksop charity seeking to help the marginalised in society has been boosted by support from a local Tesco store.

The shop at Celtic Point donated a number of food items to the 7 Project, based at Gospel Hall on Church Walk.

The food will be given to those attending the drop-in sessions at the charity’s base, which has an open door policy.

Shaun Cummings, head of the charity, said the charity aims to provide support and guidance to the disadvantaged within the community.

He added: “It’s great to have the support of someone like Tesco, and this will help us support those who come to our drop-in sessions.”

The 7 project holds two drop-in sessions each week from 10am-3pm on Tuesdays and Fridays.
