Worksop: Suspended jail term and pub ban for Carlton-in-Lindrick man who assaulted a bouncer

A man who admitted assaulting a doorman at a Worksop bar has been given a suspended prison sentence at Worksop Magistrates’ Court.

Karl Deakin, 32, from Carlton-in-Lindrick, was also banned from all Worksop pubs in the Pubwatch scheme for a year after admitting punching Tim Fores.

Deakin went to the Corner House on Bridge Street to drink whiskey, having already downed a bottle of brandy at home.

He attacked Mr Sores after the doorman had told Deakin to put his shirt back on after he had taken his top off .

Deakin was also ordered to pay £200 compensation and undergo six months of alcohol treatment.
