Bungling Worksop criminal Stevie Richardson has been caught out again.

This time the 32-year-old of Clinton Street has admitted aiding and abetting shoplifters.

Worksop magistrates heard he held the doors open at Matalan for people to go inside and steal clothes worth nearly £1,000.

The haul, lifted on 6th December 2013, included dozens of packs of Calvin Klein boxer shorts.

He told police he was paid £10 by each person he helped.

The crime meant he breached a community order imposed in October when he was filmed breaking into a police capture car.

The court heard Richardson had a long history of offending.

But David Verity, defending, said he had worked well with the probation service since his last conviction.

He was handed a 90 day jail sentence suspended for a year, with supervision and drug rehabilitation.

He must pay £120 compensation to Matalan.
